View allows providers to review a patient’s imaging studies in a non-diagnostic viewer, all without leaving the chart.

It uses the SMART App Launch standard, the same framework EHR vendors use for their own embedded apps. How it works:

  1. The EHR passes launch context to Medicom, identifying the patient, the practitioner, and (optionally) any specific imaging studies.
  1. Medicom completes the OAuth handshake with the EHR, confirming the user and organization.
  1. View opens with a secure session to the Medicom platform, scoped to patient and provider.
